How to Use Wabi AI: The 10-Minute Setup

This walkthrough follows the official launch flow. If you haven't installed the app yet, start with the download guide.

1. Create your account

Open Wabi and sign up. The app is free and there is no waitlist — accounts are open to everyone since the October 19, 2026 public launch.

2. Connect your email (optional, recommended)

Wabi's signature onboarding step: connect your email and the assistant automatically spins up starter threads and mini-apps based on what's in your inbox — trips, deliveries, plans. You can skip this and connect later, or never; email access is your choice. Read the safety page first if you're unsure.

3. Think in threads

Create one thread per topic or goal: Health, Family, Tokyo trip, Home. Each thread keeps its own context and its own mini-apps, so nothing gets buried in one endless scroll.

4. Ask for a mini-app

Inside any thread, just describe the tool you want: “Build a tracker for my weight”, “Make a poll for movie night”, “Keep a list of restaurants we want to try.” In Wabi 2.0 the agent also proposes and builds apps on its own when it spots a pattern. Need inspiration? Copy from the prompts library.

5. Invite people into a thread

Threads can be shared — your partner, family or friends join the same chat, see the same apps, and can ask Wabi questions too. You choose what each chat can access: information is scoped per chat, and everyone in a chat can see when someone's personal information is requested.

6. Pin widgets to your home screen

Your favourite Wabi widgets can live right on your iOS or Android home screen, so a tracker or countdown is one glance away instead of buried in the app.

7. Connect more, only if you want — and set access per chat

Calendar and even bank-account connections are optional add-ons for specific threads. Connect them per thread, for a clear purpose — not globally “just because”. You also choose, for each shared chat, how much of your email, calendar or bank information that chat may access; participants are shown when someone's personal information is requested. Our safety & privacy page explains what each connection means.
